If you know how fantastic really fresh produce is but don’t live in an asparagus growing region you are pretty much dependant on how good the supermarkets are at keeping the time down between harvest and shop. If you would like to feel more in control of the freshness of your asparagus you might like to try a mail order asparagus service.
The key to a successful asparagus by mail service is in finding a supplier who cuts, packs and despatches in the shortest possible time ( some quote as little as a couple of hours) and who use a delivery service that can get the goods to you next day.
We are constantly on the look-out for farms offering an asparagus by post service and list them below with a few notes on what they claim. We welcome feedback so that we can develop this page as a one stop shop to find the very best mail order asparagus suppliers for your location.
