If you would like to feel more in control of the freshness of your asparagus you might like to try a mail order asparagus service.
The key to a successful asparagus by mail service is in finding a supplier who cuts, packs and despatches in the shortest possible time ( some quote as little as a couple of hours) and who use a delivery service that can get the goods to you next day.
